Verizon selling territories to AT&T

AT&T incorporated, the largest provider of local, long distnce telephone services in United States and also serves digital subscriber line internet access buy assets of Verizon Wireless for $2.35 billion, thus it will benefits over one million subscribers.

Verizon Wireless needs to sell the service areas to further satisfy regulatory conditions of its purchase of Alltel Corp which overlaps Verizon's own coverage.
