New Sprint CEO Confident about the future

Dan Hesse, the new Sprint Nextel CEO, is excited for the future of the company and wireless capabilities in general. After reading this article, InternetNews Realtime IT News - Sprint CEO: The Future Is Open (to Speed), I can safely say Hesse is definately for the wireless industry. He happily quotes that there is one mobile phone for every two people in the world! WiMax was another exciting point of his address. He says that this will be the future of wireless calling, etc.

It wasn't all pretty though. He wasted no time bashing the new iphone saying, "its coverage is so limited" customers will not be happy. I guess with the new Sprint phone coming out, he wants to get rid of competition.
