Europe is Enjoying Internet Phone Calls

I just wonder why the trend has not caught on as much in the states. Is the internet connection generally better overseas? I guess we will see when internet phone gets more popular if it will catch on and stay.

Sprint Will Release WiMax Soon!

Tech geeks rejoice! Sprint is due to offer WiMax services in September. The most important thing about this is that Sprint will be ahead of Verizon and AT&T in the WiMax race. Sprint also threw out competition for AT&T and Apple's new iphone with the new Intuition.

VoIP Can Have Legal Implications

For the common person, VoIP services can be a quite nice alternative to regular traditional phone service. For larger corporations though, it could mean a gold mine of stored information. I don't really think that this will pose a problem for most corporations. As long as there is nothing to hide they won't be under scrutiny. Maybe more companies with VoIP will include the "this call will be recorded" message.

Qwest vs. Arizona

Qwest Communications International Inc. is involved in a battle with Arizona. How you ask can a telecommunications company be at war with a state? Why the New iphone is better

Some are wondering why the new iphone is going to debut at such a low cost compared to the old version. At 199 dollars, the new phone seems like a steal. I don't think that it is any less efficient than the old phone. It seems that Apple wants to put this phone in the hands of more customers and at the low price, they probably will.

So, I am wondering if this will potentially hurt ipod sales. If people can get a phone with an ipod for essentially the same price as the ipod itself why not?
