India Having Issues with IPTV

IPTV is similar to any VoIP or broadband internet connection except it allows you to watch television. All you need is a TV, a special box and a telephone company.

In India, this new type of television was introduced. Although it has many perks such as ability to watch multiple programs and record, pause and rewind capabilities, it has not been popular. There are only about 3000 people in Delhi that are subscribers to the service. Some say the problem may be the copper wires used as they cannot transmit a signal over a couple of Kilometers.
